Our Hapu
As a hapu we firmly believe that the answers we seek already exist within us. Our hapu combines lived experience, professional expertise, and Indigenous healing knowledge to guide people back to their own inner wisdom, creating pathways for greater wellbeing, clarity, connection, and transformation.

BILLY TE WAKE
Billy is a Taonga Pūoro Practitioner who works with the voices of traditional Māori instruments, breath, and Indigenous sound vibrations that create experiences of connection, be present, & wellbeing. Inspired by the voices of nature and the wisdom of the natural world, his work invites people to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with themselves, each other, and the environment around them.

Lets Work Together
We believe that meaningful change happens when people come together with a shared intention to restore wellbeing, strengthen connection, and nurture the human spirit.
We are creating more than retreats, wānanga, and experiences.
We are cultivating a movement — one that honours the wisdom of our ancestors, the healing power of connection, and the importance of returning to what truly matters.
As Native Wisdom grows, we welcome conversations with individuals, practitioners, facilitators, artists, organisations, sponsors, venues, and community leaders who feel aligned with this vision.
If something within you resonates with what we are creating, we would love to hear from you.
Whether you have a skill to share, a collaboration idea, a venue, a service, a resource, or simply a desire to contribute to the wellbeing of others, we invite you to reach out.
Together, we can create spaces where people feel seen, supported, connected, and empowered to return to their mauri.
Please leave your details in the form and share a little about yourself and how you would like to contribute.
A member of our team will be in touch to continue the conversation.
We look forward to connecting with you.
Ngā manaakitanga,
The Native Wisdom Whānau
